Actor Anushka Sharma has complimented actor Samantha Ruth Prabhu on her latest picture. Taking to Instagram, Samantha posted a photo from a shoot for the brand Burberry. In the picture, Samantha wore a black bikini top and paired it with a black and yellow skirt. Tagging the brand, she added a red heart emoji instead of a caption.Reacting to the post, Anushka Sharma wrote, “Hottie (fire emojis).” Samantha reacted with a hugging face emoji. Actor Ruhani Sharma commented, “Breathtaking (fire emoji).” Samyuktha Hegde said, “Someone please call the fire brigade.” Samantha and Anushka are often seen dropping comments on each other’s posts on Instagram. Recently, Anushka shared a series of her photos and wrote, “Two hours past my bedtime but looking fine.” Samantha commented, “Ooooo la la.” Earlier, Anushka posted a selfie giving a peek of her tanned face. She had captioned the post, “‘Tan’ on ten.” Reacting to the picture, Samantha dropped a red heart emoji.Samantha was last seen in the Tamil romantic comedy Kaathu Vaakula Rendu Kaadhal alongside Vijay Sethupathi and Nayanthara. She has several projects in the pipeline including Kushi with Vijay Deverakonda. The film, slated to release on December 23 this year, is billed as a family entertainer. The Telugu film is directed by Shiva Nirvana and produced by Mythri Movie Makers.
Samantha will also be seen in the upcoming multilingual mythological drama Shaakuntalam. Written and directed by Gunasekhar, Shaakuntalam also stars Dev Mohan, Mohan Babu and Sachin Khedekar among others. Produced by Neelima Guna, the film went into production last year. Shaakuntalam will release in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada.
She also has the Telugu film Yashoda, which will release in theatres on August 12. Written and directed by filmmaker duo Hari Shankar and Harish Narayan, the sci-fi thriller will also release in Tamil, Hindi, Kannada and Malayalam. Yashoda also stars Unni Mukundan and Varalaxmi Sarathkumar.
